Sidney Nolan at Pallant House Gallery On Friday 10 March 2017 we visited Chichester for the private view of TransferencesSidney Nolan in Britain, at Pallant House Gallery. Pallant House is an elegant Queen Anne townhouse built in 1712, with an extensive wing added in 2006. The gallery was buzzing for this eventperhaps partly due to some enthusiastic media coverage of the Nolan exhibition. We were welcomed by Harriet Judd, Head of Publishing, who had commissioned us to design the exhibition catalogue. We met Rebecca Daniels, curator of the exhibition and author of the catalogue, Alanna Jones, the editor, and had a chat with the gallery director Simon Martin,
whom we had met previously at a John Armstrong exhibition in London. In the Pallant House bookshop we spotted a few other books we had worked on, including Vanessa Bell and Adrian Heath.
